Background
Learning never ends. I seek to learn from those around me and to teach what I know to others. A successful academic career lends me a vast toolkit to lean on in professional contexts; specializing in social science research methods (both quantitative and qualitative).
I am a passionate advocate for fairness, accountability, and transparency in technology, and wish to bring smart policies in line with smart technology.
In my free time I enjoy learning about upcoming and innovative technologies, building my “smart home of the future”, mastering the skies as an amateur drone pilot, enjoying the nature of the Pacific Northwest, and spending time with friends and family.
